Patrick Dempsey thinks so.
"There may be [wedding bells in the future]," Dempsey told USA Today at Monday night's Whitney Museum of Art gala in NYC.

So how would the pair - who have broken up and gotten back together repeatedly over the past five seasons - say "I Do"?
"I don't think it will be a typical marriage," admitted Dempsey, 42.
"Rumor has it something might be happening," added Dempsey coyly. "I think they have to. It's time for them to get together!"
Show creators agree. Dempsey and Pompeo's characters moved in together on last Thursday's episode.
"My goal is to get Meredith and Derek together for good, and let them try to figure out what it is to be in a relationship in the future," Shonda Rhimes told EW.com.
In real life, Dempsey's relationship with wife Jillian (with whom he has three kids) is more set in stone.
"She's an amazing Mom, and the greatest woman in my life," he gushed to reporters at the Whitney Museum of Art gala. "And without her, I would not be where I am today!"
