Live Like You're Dying will feature very ill people being reunited with former friends or feuding family members, creating a "legacy moment" (for a person's name to carry on forever) or fulfilling lifelong dreams.
"It could be playing guitar with Eric Clapton, or jumping out of the plane into a volcano," Probst tells EW.com. "Whatever it is that you’re still desiring to do in your life — we want to make it happen."

Probst says the show will be inspirational instead of morbid.
"The focus of the show is not death," Probst tells EW.com. "The story we're going to tell is about living. This is a show that is intended to inspire everybody to get the most out of their lives every day."
Live Like You're Dying will focus on a different person each week, should it be picked up into a series. Survivor creator Mark Burnett will serve as executive producer, and Denise Cramsey of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will also be involved.
The pilot will be taped in January, after filming has wrapped on the 18th season of Survivor. No air date has been set.
