Patrick Dempsey is ready to walk down the aisle! The actor told USA Today "There may be [wedding bells in the future]" on the hit mega hit doc drama.
He and "Grey's" titular character Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) have been on-again off-again throughout the span of the show, but McDreamy says, "Rumor has it something might be happening," added Dempsey coyly. "I think they have to. It's time for them to get together!"
Series creator Shonda Rhimes seems to agree! "My goal is to get Meredith and Derek together for good, and let them try to figure out what it is to be in a relationship in the future," she told EW.com
