See More... Lindsay Lohan's time on "Ugly Betty" has reportedly been cut short from six episodes to just four. According to a report in Page Six, an on-set rivalry with America Ferrera may have been to blame.


Page Six says a production source gabbed about the whole ordeal, blaming diva-like behavior. "It was a mess," the source is quoted as saying. "Lindsay would show up every day with an entourage of people ... and refused to go on set until America was there -- it was a power play."

However, someone on team Lohan told the paper: "America was mean to Lindsay. Producers give her too much power. Lindsay didn't do the last two episodes because America didn't like her and got her kicked off."

Reps for both stars commented, saying, "America is grateful to have had [Lindsay] on the show and thinks everyone should tune in to see how great the episodes are."

Lohan's rep said, "Lindsay was scheduled for six episodes and is appearing in four but had a lovely time."

  • Linday probably caused the trouble, it wouldn't surprise me one bit. Reason she is not working in films. She was lucky they had her on the show at all.

    • I've talked with many people on the set and they told me thatLL was a delite to work with. She would get AF coffee from Starbucks on her way in. LL would make sure that fresh cut flowers were in AF's dressing room EVERY AM. In fact LL suggested that she do only 4 episodes so as not to take the spotlite occasionally off of AF!

  • thank God.. We dont need Ms. Lohan on this program. Its fine the way it is... Let her on someone else's program so it can get chopped, not our Ugly Betty... the show is fine the way that it is now!

    • AF knows that she has a hit because of all the good people she has around her. That's why she insisted that LL be hired. Off the set, they are both GREAT friends and once in awhile will sneak off to Reno so the cameras won't bug the 2 of them rather than go to Vegas.

  • Linds needs to grow up and realize that there are a world of talent people out there and she is NOT at the top of the list, if she can't behave like a lady then there are a hundred more who would love to be where she is.

    • You're one of those peeps that probably don't believe in Santa cause you believe what others told you. Well, I'm 73 years old and still hang up my Christmas stocking. And you know what? Every year it gets filled. If I had believed what some others said, i would've lost out on a lot of nice stocking fillers!

  • America doesnt come from that drug fueled crazy hollywood scene, and i can definately believe that Lindsey brought her s%it dont stink attitude. L looked rode hard and hung up wet.they are doing her a favor. L needs street cred, needs to do more self sacrificing edgy roles for that to happen. Linds, get rid of the entourage. it only makes you look bad. She is a good actress.. but we are tired of the hijinks. Hope you shread the snotty hey look at me attitude and show us what you are made of.

    • You'll be happy to know that she was cut (ever so slightly) during the first episode. When the paramedics found out she was a "bleeder", all on the set were very careful not to leave anything sharp so that she wouldn't get cut again. See, they care!!

  • La Lohan better get her act together because it is in free-fall. A six episode guest shot on one of television's most popular shows might have given her career (!) a little life, but she blew it by being the diva with all the accompanying attitude and retinue. Besides that, something looks wrong. I think it is her eyes, they look puffy. I think we are watching the end of Lohan. She's the only one who thinks she is still an actress. Everyone else just thinks she is wierd.

  • good riddends. ugly betty is my favorite show i never miss it and i love america. if lindsay can't take the heat then get out of the kitchen. this was her golden chance for something and she blew it. the show is the best there is and the way it is. leave it alone.

  • I THINK THAT FERRARA IS QUITE JEALOUS OF LOHAN. I BELIEVE LOHAN IS TURNING HER LIFE AROUND AND FERRARA IS JEALOUS OF LOHAN'S LOOKS BEING THAT FERRARA IS NOT ATTRACTIVE AND A LITTLE ON THE CHUBBY SIDE. THE EASIER THING WAS TO BLAME LINDSAY B/C OF HER PAST. I BELIEVE AMERICA IS THE BLAME.
