Elisabeth Hasselbeck to Rally with Sarah Palin

"View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced on the show Thursday that she would be introducing Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin at Florida rallies this weekend.

"I was called by the McCain campaign and Governor Palin asked me to be with her this Sunday to introduce her at the rallies in Florida," Hasselbeck said of campaigning with Palin in the hotly contested Southern swing state.

Hasselbeck said, "I am more than honored to be there, so I will be flying there to travel with her and meet some pretty interesting people, I have a feeling. So, that's an honor and I'm excited to do it and I'll have some stories I'm sure on Monday."

  • I feel that Elizabeth is will an asset to the Palin rally, not that Governor Palin needs a "prop" of any sort. Elizabeth is so bright and articulate and I admire her courage on The View.
