Beyonce Unveils Alter Ego Plus, Ciara Speaks On “If I Were A Boy”

A few weeks ago when I spilled the beans on Beyonce’s new alter ego Sasha Fierce, I was sort’ve joking. Today she unveiled that her new stage name will indeed be “Sasha Fierce”: It’s already trademarked and merchandise is ready to go..

Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I’m working and when I’m on the stage,” explained Fierce in a statement. “I have someone else that takes over when it’s time for me to work and when I’m onstage, this alter ego that I’ve created kind of protects me and who I really am.”

I was hoping she’d have a whole new identity with the name. Maybe a new look…new hair…something. But, we already know L’Oreal has her hair on lock.

Ciara was honored as Billboard’s Woman of The Year earlier today in New York.  In an interview with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez recently she was asked how she felt about Beyonce’s “If I Were A Boy” song in which she replied: “I mean it’s a cool song…The Song Is Different But It Does Have The Same Concept Of Mines She Looks Beautiful In The Video I Will Say That”. She also revealed that her album will be pushed back to late January or early February of next year.

I knew that was coming…
