According to the Post, Cook's lawyer Kathleen McKenna, states that the settlement addresses the alleged sex tape that made headlines earlier this month and protects Cook from any criminal charges that relate to it, therefore, Bianchi's lawyer Joseph Tacopina's threats of prosecution violate terms of that deal. McKenna also states that the settlement forbids Bianchi's lawyers from disparaging Cook and accuses Bianchi's other lawyer, Rosemarie Arnold, of doing so when she supposedly called him a "wolf" after his interview with Barbara Walters.
"The story in the New York Post is the biggest bunch of hogwash we have seen yet in this case," Bianchi's attorney Rosemarie Arnold tells ET. "We advised the Post that their story had no basis in fact before it was printed. We will not and never have commented on any agreement between Peter Cook and Diana Bianchi. I can assure you that neither Joseph Tacopina nor I entered into any agreement with Peter Cook whereby we agreed not to disparage him. That not withstanding, we did not disparage him."
