The 28-year-old has won praise from Western critics for her performance in Quantum of Solace but there's one audience in Russia that's still a tough sell.

The Communists of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, have slammed Olga Kurylenko, saying that she had betrayed her homeland by appearing with James Bond and deserved the fate of World War II traitors who slept with "enemies of the people," .telegraph.co.uk reports

"Your peers are engaged in struggles against Nato and you lounge around on the Cote d'Azur. Do you really want Crimean girls to be raped by cruel and stupid American marines?" the letter said.

"Do you know what they did with women who welcomed the occupiers in the Great Patriotic War?"

Kurylenko could redeem herself only by handing over her co-star, Daniel Craig, to Russian security agencies, the Communists said.
