Ryan Reynolds: NY's Marathon Man!
Among the 40,000 people running in today's New York City marathon was actor Ryan Reynolds, the newlywed who just weeks ago honeymooned with his new wife Scarlett Johansson in the great outdoors of Canada.

The 'Definitely, Maybe' star was running the marathon on behalf of the Michael J. Fox Foundation's Team Fox. The organization benefits Parkinson's Disease, which Ryan's dad Jim suffers from.

Ryan wrote in an essay earlier this year that he's not naturally inclined to run a marathon: "I am not a runner. I'm a running joke." But he said he had committed himself to getting up at the crack of dawn in recent weeks to train for the race.

The actor said earlier that Scarlett had been very supportive of the effort and that she would be there to cheer him on in New York. "She'll be on the road somewhere -- she better be."
