Taylor Momsen beat that "life-threatening throat infection."
The 15-year-old actress was admitted to a medical facility in Los Angeles, where she was treated for the unspecified condition.
Her doctor, Shawn Nasseri, tells UsWeekly.com, "She has been hospitalized for a severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection since Sunday. After aggressive antibiotics and medications, she is expected to make a full recovery in the next three to five days."
The teenager was released from hospital on Wednesday and is now recuperating at home, according to People.com.
"Gossip Girl" bosses insist she will be back at work onset in New York soon.
