John McCain Sends Condolences to Barack Obama

On the eve of Election Day, John and Cindy McCain send their sympathies to Barack Obama after the death of his grandmother.

"We offer our deepest condolences to Barack Obama and his family as they grieve the loss of their beloved grandmother," the statement reads.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to them as they remember and celebrate the life of someone who had such a profound impact in their lives."

Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, passed away on Sunday at the age of 86.
