Paris Hilton Explains New Diamond on Ring Finger

Paris Hilton set shutterbugs ablaze Monday when she was snapped outside of CBS’ "Late Show With David Letterman" wearing a big, sparkling ring on her left hand! What did she tell Letterman about the bling?

The talk-show host asked the heiress if the jaw-dropping, beautiful rock was an engagement ring, and Hilton said that it was not. She said the ring was a gift from someone, but did not say from who. Hilton went on to talk about her relationship with musician beau Benji Madden.

"I love him," Hilton said. "He’s a good guy."

Wearing a starry, blue dress on the eve of election day, Hilton also said she would be voting for president Tuesday in the "biggest election in history."
