We got up early today at Times Square Gossip to make sure we got our vote in. We were very surprised at the very long lines. Lucky the voting place is in our building, so we are allowed VIP voting. We have never seen such long lines ever in any election in New York City. We hope it is the same all around the country. Get out and vote. By law, your employer has to let you go vote with no penalties to your pay. This is the most important election of our time, it is your duty to send Washington your message with your vote. Our exit polls here in Times Square show Obama is the early morning winner. But this could change through out the day. You can vote for Obama or McCain, but get out there and vote and let your voice be heard. If you are off today, call a elderly person and ask them if they need help to vote. Don't wait to see the polls and figure this one or that one will win anyway, so you don't have to vote. Your vote can change a election. Also look at your local candidates. They are just as important. Your local candidates fight for you and it is very important that you give the ones that have a proven record another term and the ones that are losers the boot.
