The Oscar-nominated actress appears on the cover of Vanity Fair looking svelte and trim but is now facing airbrush accusations.

Kate Winslet posed for the cover of Vanity Fair wearing a number of sexy ensembles and in the issue, Winslet reveals that she still feels like "the fat kid" at times and The Daily Mail, a publication from Winslet’s native England, claims the photos had some help. The UK paper even consulted a professional airbrush artist to analyze the photos of Winslet.

People magazine writes that the 33-year-old actress is furious over the claims of being airbrushed and her rep tells the mag that "she is in terrific shape and what you see is how she looks or she would never have agreed to pose for those shots.”

  • I don't see what all the fuss is. It's a Vanity Fair photo layout. Of course there was some airbrushing. Just like they have done with every star they have ever done a feature on. It's a non issue. Get a life people!

  • Kate Winslet is beautiful. Have people lost their minds? Isn't anyone sick of looking at stick figures with hair? I guess in today's culture, Marilyn Monroe would be on Nutri-System under every curve was turned to bone.
