Contrary to rumors, Melanie Chisholm-- who expects her first childin March -- says she has "no plans" to walk down the aisle anytime soon. During a Tuesday appearance on the UK's Paul O'Grady Show, she told guest host and fellow Spice Girl Melanie Brownthat she and boyfriend Thomas Starrintend to "get married one day...but just not at the moment." While spending so much time with the "beautiful" children of her bandmates during the Spice Girls recent world tour was "brilliant," Mel C. was quick to point out that it didn't factor in to her decision to become pregnant.
"I've always wanted to have children and it’s just never been the right time for me [before]. You have your path in life and you just follow it."
Baby-on-the-way will be a delivery surprise -- which is a surprise in and of itself for the 34-year-old songstress.
"Whenever I thought about having a baby, I always thought I'd want to know, straight away just so you can kind of bond with it. But when it came down to it, I thought, 'Don't tell me!' I was even having nightmares that on the scan I saw a little willy or something."
