Troubled singer Amy Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was released from a British jail today but was not immediately reunited with his wife, People magazine reports. Upon his release, Fielder-Civil, 26, immediately checked into rehab as part of the terms of his early release, a source confirmed to People. He was first arrested about one year ago and pleaded guilty to assault charges stemming from a bar brawl and spent about 13 months in jail -- about half of his sentence.
It could still be weeks before Winehouse, who has been in and out of London medical facilities in recent months due to various reported ailments, can reunite with her husband since rehab centers typically don't allow visitors at the beginning stages of recovery.
