This would be one amazing final season if the rumor is true. Will Dr. Doug Ross be back on ER? Star magazine reports that George Clooney may end up returning for ER’s finale, as other former co-stars will be making special guest appearances.

Noah told TV Guide:

“From what I heard, George said, ‘absolutely,’ schedule permitting.”

However, Clooney’s rep and NBC would not comment.

I would tune in just to see Dr. Ross on ER again so I hope it happens!
