Jon Voight is a deadbeat
News that actor Jon Voight still owes child support for Angelina Jolie
comes as a big surprise. We’re thinking this little matter could have
been cleared up – oh, we don’t know – when Angie was a child?

Jolie’s mom, Marcheline Bertrand, who passed away in January, stated
in her will that Voight still needs to chip in $180,000 for child
support. We had no idea he was such a deadbeat dad. And it's not like he didn't have the cash.

While we don’t know the details of their tenuous relationship, Jolie has
held a grudge since Voight dumped the family way back when Angie was a baby. We guess that Jolie doesn’t forgive and forget easily (and
who can blame her?), despite dad’s best attempts to get back into her
life, including his teary-eyed plea on an E! interview... although more recently, he was asked the name of his second grandchild (Zahara) and made several, embarrassing mistakes. We're not sure if he just couldn't pronounce her name or if he simply forgot. Or maybe he just didn't care?

Will the money get father and daughter reunited again?

  • Hey, if the man owes it, he owes it. It's not like he doesn't have the money. And, it doesn't have anything to do with how much the mom had either. I'm so sick of men who think that they can get away with not doing their part and leave everything up...
