"The Insider" has learned new details about the woman found dead in a tan Toyota Camry Tuesday near the home of "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul.

Officials have confirmed her identity as 30-year-old Paula Goodspeed of Thousand Oaks.

Authorities say a call came in at 3 p.m. yesterday from a family member reporting they hadn't seen Ms. Goodspeed since Monday at 11 p.m. They reportedly voiced concerned that she might overdose and made suggestions about an obsession with Paula Abdul.

According to Abdul's rep Jeff Ballard, the "American Idol" judge and her team have been aware of the woman for "several years" and that she "has issues."

"I am deeply shocked and saddened by what transpired yesterday," Paula says. "My heart and prayers go out to her family."

The woman's car was found after 6 p.m. on Tuesday after the Los Angeles Police Department received a call. Police say the cause of death may have been an overdose in an apparent suicide.

Abdul was not home at the time as she was out all day working on AI. She returned late in the evening after the scene had cleared.

According to the Los Angeles Coroner, the autopsy for the woman will be conducted on Thursday.
