President-elect Barack Obama already showed devotion to his two daughters during the busy campaign and plans to keep this special bond to his kids while serving as the nation's First Dad! Obama tells the new issue of Us magazine -- on newsstands now -- that he is a modern dad who always tries to balance his political life with the needs of his two daughters, Malia, 10 and Sasha, 7. "I think I'm a pretty cool dad," Obama said.
One recent example was on Monday when Obama, before jetting off to the White House, kissed his daughters goodbye and dropped them off at school. During the campaign, Michelle gave her opinion on her husband's constant balancing act: "He's an incredible husband and father. Not sure if the world knows yet, but they should!"
