Jennifer Hudson's New Words After Family Tragedy

The "American Idol" alum is speaking out after the headline-grabbing tragedy that claimed the lives of her mother, brother, and nephew.

In a new blog on her MySpace page titled “Thank You All,” Jennifer Hudson posted a new message expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support she has received from people in response to the tragedy.

The Oscar-winning ‘Dreamgirl’ writes the following heartfelt message:

“I want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My sister and I take great comfort and strength from your love and concern. jhud”

The body of Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death on Oct. 24, and her nephew’s body was found three days later.
