See More... Kanye West was arrested last night in Newcastle, England.

According to MTV UK, the rapper had an altercation with a member of the paparazzi who claimed Kanye became physical with him. Police arrested Kanye on suspicion of assault, but he was quickly released without charge.

"We can confirm that a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident at a Newcastle city centre club in the early hours of this morning," Northumbria police tell ET. "He was released without charge and no further police action is being taken."

  • I've never liked Kanye - he's egotistical and in my opinion he's a far cry from being the 'voice of his generation'. If he is - then we are in more trouble then we thought! Maybe next time they'll keep him. He thinks he's better then anyone else - maybe he has a hearing problem.
