My Big Fat Greek Wedding star, Nia Vardalos, and her husband, Ian Gomez, are the proud parents of a little girl. E! Online reports that the first-time mom and dad have decided to reveal that their child, who they adopted several months ago, is a toddler under five years old.
“They are going public now to bring attention to National Adoption Month and the 500,000 children in foster care,” Vardalos’ rep stated. “Of these children, 129,000 are ‘legally free’ for adoption and waiting for a family.”
