Britney Spears Fires Manager?

An insider claims Spears fired her manager of several months, Larry Rudolph, on Friday. Spears, who's been suffering from severe postpartum depression, blames Rudolph for recent missteps, including introducing her to her Paris Hilton.

Last week, Spears returned to her longtime NYC-based publicist Leslie Sloane of PR powerhouse BWR, Star reports.

Sloane and Britney parted ways last year, around the time Britney and Kevin Federline split. Britney followed suit by latching onto her music manager, Larry Rudolph of Reigndeer Entertainment, and relegating PR duties to him.

Sloane's other clients span the Hollywood spectrum, from Lindsay Lohan to Patrick Dempsey to Jennifer Lopez, so Britney is in good company.

Meanwhile, Spears has made dramatic weight transformation. The singer has prompted speculation that she may have had surgery to drops weight.

A week ago Britney Spears was spotted emerging from a cosmetic surgery clinic already showing signs of losing the pounds she had put on since splitting from her husband Kevin Federline last year.

A source told Star: "Britney wants to look better than she ever has in her life. She has a plan and has already started working on it."

"She is a size 6 (UK size 10) and wants to be a size 2 (UK size 6) when she is done in three months."
