Are Nick & Vanessa in Trouble?

Is the honeymoon over for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo? Their
made-for-MTV relationship has seemed a bit tense lately.

The usually affectionate couple was spotted looking less than cozy at
the Los Angeles airport earlier this week. Nick and Vanessa weren't
walking together so much as they were walking in the same general
vicinity as each other.

While we're not sure why the duo was keeping their distance from one
another, one guess is that maybe they were trying to foil paparazzi
attempts to get pics of them. Or maybe Nick didn't brush his teeth
that morning or something. Either way, norm al, happy couples don't
keep ten paces between them.

Of course, this latest bump in the road for Nick and Vanessa comes on
the heels of last month's rumors of an engagement. And just
a month before that, the duo was dealing with issues of Vanessa's
jealousy over Nick's overly-friendly fans. Guess not all
relationships can go as smoothly as Nick's ex Jessica Simpson's love
fest with John Mayer.
