Angelina Jolie Moved to Tears

An emotional Angelina Jolie was moved to tears at a London press conference for her new film 'Changeling' on Monday. But what made her break down?

Unable to truly tap into the essence of the real-life character of Christine Collins, whose son disappeared in 1920s Los Angeles, Angelina says she thought of her late mother in order to connect with the role. But when she began to reflect on Marcheline, she became emotional.

"Everybody called her marshmallow as a joke, because she was just the softest, most gentle woman in the world," said Angelina, moved to tears.

"She is very much Christine Collins," she continued. "She was really sweet and would never get angry; she couldn't swear to save her life. But when it came to her kids, she was really, really fierce, and so this is very much her, and her story, in that she was the woman I relate to, who had that elegance and strength through just knowing what was right."

Angelina's mother died of ovarian cancer in January of last year. In previous interviews, Angelina has said that she kept a picture of her mother in her purse with her on the 'Changeling' set in order to channel her courage.

Amid all the emotions, the actress took a moment to reveal her lighter side and how she likes to unwind while lounging at home.

"I spend a lot of time at home," Angelina admits, "I tend to be in pajamas and just coloring and things like that."
