"Words can’t even explain the true amazing, growing, learning journey that I've had on the show," Cody said, adding of Julianne: "I love her so much. This opportunity has been so amazing."
"I'm so proud of you," Julianne told him. "I've had such an amazing time with you."
The duo partnered up Monday night for the first time since Julianne returned from having surgery.
The finals are now set. Competing for the mirror ball trophy are Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson, Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer, and Brooke Burke and Derek Hough.
The judges' opinions of the finalists? Lance is excellent at interpreting all the dances, said Bruno. Warren "knows what the audience wants" and is a "natural charmer," said Carrie Ann. And Brooke has downright great technique, said Len, adding that "if she keeps focus, she's the one to beat!"
Nail-biter moments aside, the evening also featured one of the show’s most star-studded musical line-ups to date. Aretha Franklin, Leona Lewis, John Legend and Julianne Hough (pulling double-duty) all performed -- with reigning "DWTS" champs Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas hitting the dance floor for Aretha’s second number, "Respect."

Are you surprised Denise Richards was eliminated from DWTS Season 8?
