Despite rumors that swirled all weekend, Ashlee Simpson, who is nine months pregnant, has not given birth, husband Pete Wentz revealed when he phoned into TRL’s finale on Sunday, assuring fans that the baby’s “not here yet!”
Pete added that his Fall Out Boy bandmates, as well as the rest of the world, will probably know that the baby’s arrived when the news hits the Internet! Still, he assures, “nothing’s happened yet!” and that they are still undecided on a baby name.
According to Ashlee’s dad Joe, the couple were ready for the baby to be born two weeks ago! Sister Jessica added to Ellen DeGeneres already that her sister is “trying everything right now” to induce labor. “They’re going to have to. It’s already developing really quick.”
