Sources confirmed to "The Insider" that the celeb couple split several days ago.

Paris and Benji's romance blossomed earlier this year. Benji's twin brother and Good Charlotte bandmate, Joel Madden, is engaged to Paris' "Simple Life" pal Nicole Richie.
