Swayze recently told the New York Times about his battle with pancreatic cancer, saying that undergoing chemotherapy was "hell on wheels" -- but that he's put 20 pounds back on and that his progress is still encouraging.

Seen here on the set of A&E's "The Beast," the thriving star will debut his new series January 15th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

"The Beast" tells the story of an unorthodox FBI vet (Swayze) training his new partner -- all the while being pursued by a secret Internal Affairs team.
