This week's episode of America's Next Top Model saw the girls go Down Under and tape their first Cover Girl commercials. In Australia, the wannabe models practiced their Aussie accents and the judges weeded out the girl who clearly wasn't Top Model material – crazy Jael.At this late stage in the competition, our strategy for figuring out who stands a chance is to listen to Tyra and the other judges' verbal cues when talking about the girls. For instance, even though Dionne muffed up her commercial, Tyra said that she was the kind of girl who could nail it with practice. Nigel, on the other hand, always comments on how even though Renee is pretty, she "photographs old."
Of the remaining girls, Natasha's English is still poor, but her photos and video were gorgeous. Jaslene can't seem to move beyond her drag queen ways. And Brittany flubbed her commercial because a past car accident caused short term memory loss. Like the judges haven't heard that before.
Our best bet for the final three are Natasha, Brittany, and Dionne.
