There's been much speculation since Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz welcomed their son, Bronx Mowgli, into the world last week as to what the unusual name means -- and now the Fall Out Boy has the answer!
"We came up with the idea of Bronx -- we've been throwing back and forth," he told Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM show Tuesday morning. "I feel weird cause all these people have all these ideas of what it means …"
While not revealing the meaning behind Bronx, he does say why the pair agreed on making Mowgli the middle name.
"The Jungle Book is something Ashlee and I bonded over," he says.
Meanwhile Pete admits that when it was time for the baby to come, it was he who couldn't keep his cool.
"She’s pretty much a saint," he says of Ashlee. "Right before she went into labor I was like, 'Oh my God I think I'm having a heart attack.' My heart started beating really fast. You know to see your wife in all this pain and to think, 'I don't really know what's happening.' So she took care of me and made sure I was okay. She's an amazing girl."
