The former star of Dawson's Creek is in Louisiana filming a movie away from the clutches of her domineering hubby. And she's apparently using the space to reconnect with her family and old friends.
Even though her parents gave glowing, sound bite-perfect quotes to the media at the time of Katie's wedding to Tom, there's always been a rumor about a rift. Katie is apparently trying to make amends with her parents by inviting them to visit her on the set of her movie. She's also making plans to go home to Ohio this summer.
We wonder what Tom has to say about all this. Or is he behind it? Leave it to the man who beat up Oprah's couch to mastermind a show for the media.
