Of course, the big news is that Sanjaya was sent packing on Wednesday night’s American Idol. Sanjaya is not going to fade away too quickly, as he promises to expand his career beyond music -- into acting  and modeling (can you imagine?). He’ll kick off his post-Idol career on Monday’s Live with Regis and Kelly.

Lindsay Lohan wants to set the record straight – she’s not an addict. Um, we’re confused. Why go to rehab then? Linds maintains that it was a safe place for her to “take care of [her] personal health.” Hmm, we’re thinking there are plenty of other safe places to dry out… we mean, get healthy.

Nobody wants annoying tag team whiners Joan and Melissa Rivers on the red carpet. First E! gave them  the heave-ho and now TV Guide Channel has replaced them. Soap star and former Dancing with the Stars contestant Lisa Rinna will be taking over the gig. Good riddance to the tasteless mother/daughter team.
