Rosie O'Donnell explains why she won't be attempting more variety shows after debuting her "Rosie Live" program last week on NBC.

In response to a question on her blog about whether she plans more "Rosie Live" in 2009, the former co-host of "The View" simply writes: "There will b no more. No ratings, bad reviews. yet still - a thrill 4 me."

Ratings estimates showed her NBC special was watched by just 5 million people last Wednesday, a  night dominated by ABC newswoman and "The View" co-creator Barbara Walter's interview with Barack and Michelle Obama.

  • YEAH!!! I knew it wouldn't make it. Last thing USA needed was Rosie causing problems again on TV. She tried it for publicity too and it didn't work. USA is tired of her.
