Madonna & Alex Rodriguez in Mexico City

Madonna and Alex Rodriguez showed up in Mexico City on the same weekend.

Madonna was there to perform as part of her Sticky and Sweet tour while Alex was seen teaching kids to play ball at a new sports center, The Associated Press reports.

Alex was asked what it was like to be in Mexico City at the same time as Madonna of which he responded, "very good."

Alex and his wife divorced in September. Madonna announced her split from husband Guy Ritchie a month ago. Rumors have spread that the singer and the New York Yankee are an item.
