Britney Spears' Live Birthday Performance

Britney Spears celebrates her 27th birthday in grand circus style at her live U.S. television comeback debut!

Britney appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America" dressed as a ringmaster to perform a number from her new album Circus, making a dramatic arrival aboard a circus wagon accompanied by clowns, jugglers and performers dressed as circus animals. During another number for "Womanizer," Spears crashed through a fiery hoop.

Among members of the enthusiastic crowd were Britney's mom Lynne Spears and the pop star's two young sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The show featured special birthday shout-outs from top celebrities including Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon, John Travolta and People's newly named Sexiest Man Alive, Hugh Jackman.

Britney has announced she'll kick off her tour in March in her home state of Louisiana, before moving on to 24 cities including Miami, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. • If the paps would just give her some much needed space, she could go out and do normal day to day things maybe she wouldn't be so sad about what her life has become. I admire her drive and tenacity!!!!!!! Good luck with the new cd

  • The press has been ruthless to Britney while she struggled to overcome deceitful, unethical conduct by her former manager! Grinding up powerful prescription drugs in her food is something done only for animals!
