cate blanchett gets her hollywood star!

good evening! today actress cate blanchett finally received a star on hollywood's walk of fame (#2,376) i'm super surprised she didn't already have one - she is an academy award winner after all for her work in the aviator (it still shocks me that mary-kate & ashley olsen have a star on hollywood blvd) when i left for work this morning i saw the set-up for the ceremony but i couldn't get down there to take my own pictures but the ones below are quite nice - she's gorgeous and so damn talented! (although i don't know about her choice of outfit today...) these things are always timed around a new release - she's starring alongside brad pitt in the curious case of benjamin button which i MUST go see - it looks amazing! popbytes over & out for tonight...xoxo
