Novel Adventures - "But You've Got To Have Friends"

Christmas is a time for reflection.  And looking back on this year, our four women have a lot to be thankful for.  As the girls book Club, "Novel Adventures," winds down for the holidays, the girls take their final adventure of the year. But just as everything has gone thus far, their book "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society," by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows brings out the unexpected. Lizzie's treasured husband Michael finally gets to meet the club, and thinking they're a traditional book club, gives them a traditional gift... which, of course, ends up being something our girls find an entirely unique and original use for.
