Is Caroline Kennedy a Good Choice to Replace NY Senator Hillary Clinton?

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was recently chosen by President-elect Barack Obama to serve as his Secretary of State.

Caroline's cousin, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., has said that she may be interested in taking over Clinton's Senate seat.

New York Gov. David Paterson would have to appoint someone to the seat for a two-year period, after which they would have to run in an election.

Caroline is the daughter and only surviving child of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy. She is an author and attorney and is involved with several major foundations and charitable organizations.
