Oscar hopefuls Beyonce and Queen Latifah showed off their glam figures in Washington DC at the 2008 Kennedy Center Honors.  Chris Brown, Estelle, Akon, David Banner, Katy Perry, Jesse McCartney, the Pussycat Dolls and Tokio Hotel performed at the KIIS FM Jingle Ball. Will Smith and Rosario Dawson promoted their new movie Seven Pounds in Beverly Hills. Mariah Carey spoke about her film Tennesse which premiered at the Tribeca FIlm Festival. Ashanti celebrated the Christmas spirit. While Samuel Jackson attended the Berlin photocall for his action movie The Spirit with starlets Scarlet Johansson and Eva Mendes.
