NBC Reportedly Signs Leno to Host Nightly Prime Time Show

The New York Times is reporting NBC will announce tomorrow that they have signed "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno to do a show similar in format and style to the current "." Conan O'Brien is scheduled to take over the job of host of the "Tonight Show" in May 2010. Perhaps a wise decision to retain such proven talent, rather than compete against him, they should use the time wisely to ensure the "Tonight Show" franchise is enhanced with a strong distinctive comedy lead-in.
