Beautiful couple, beautiful baby but I have a problem with Essence magazine glorifying unmarried couples with a baby. You send the wrong message to young women, that it’s OK to live this way because money and fame excuses it all. Shame on you Essence! Where is your moral fiber?
I have to agree that promoting their ‘house’ when they’re not married is not cute. I mean seriously Essence, how can you follow up Will and Jada with this mess? I would agree that married or not would be their business if there weren’t children involved. This sends the message that shacking up is just as good and I’m sorry it’s not. Congrats to Usher as he is now a proud father of another baby boy. The baby was delivered early yesterday morning and would make baby boy number 2 for Ursh and 5 for Tameka. I’m hearing he wanted a girl BAD but there is always another try.
And while I’m spreading the positivity (:-) ) Thanks to Atlanta’s V-103 Morning Show producer Nina Brown for keeping me informed about what’s going on in the community. Each year, V 103 Listeners submit Christmas wishes on behalf of families in need but with the troubling economy this year, the morning show felt they needed to do more for Atlanta families this Christmas. They called Usher and he graciously donated $20,000 to the station promotion.
Wanda Smith says, “We’ve been close to Usher and his family and have watched him grow tremendously. I knew Usher would step up to the plate because that’s the kind of man he is. Usher is a special person and will continue to be blessed because of his heart.”
