The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon and Doubt led the pack with five nominations each. James Franco was also nominated for Pineapple Express!!! The Dark Knight was snubbed, receiving only one nod. While Franco carried the film because Seth Rogen isn't funny, does he deserve a Golden Globe for playing himself? Someone else should win.
It's also nice to see that Rachel Griffiths (Brothers & Sisters) is up for a Golden. So, on Brothers & Sisters Rachel's character's hubby cheated on her, then he wanted a divorce. So she comes home from work one day, after he already announces that he wants to split, and he wastes no time, grabs her and s her on the washing machine in the hallway. She's all excited that they're reconciling, then he tells her he just wanted to and they're not getting back together. I felt her pain and that's why she should win! Rachel also coincidentally just so happens to be a good actress, too. Some say that helps.
For television, cable continues to kick network television's ass! The Golden Globes air Jan.11.
