We know you're thrilled. We know you're honored. What we don't know is why you feel the need to release a statement that just says that. Here, we recognize those Golden Globe nominees who went the extra mile. Or, in the case of Hugh Laurie, an extra two steps. (See, we're not asking for much. Just a little personality.)

They are great, iconic women that I've watched for years -- they have definitely inspired and influenced me in my decision to pursue acting. So proud to be in this film and having the chance again to work with Mike Leigh. These past couple of days have been a whirlwind but I am feeling quite lucky and blessed at the moment."
