Jodie Sweetin, former child star of Full House, was called to an emergency custody hearing by her estranged husband. Result of the hearing is, Sweetin is no longer allowed to see her 8-month-old daughter without supervision.
Reportedly, Sweetin’s husband of just nine months, Cody Herpin accused Sweetin of being an unfit mother and told the judge of an alleged incident where Sweetin drove drunk with the baby in the back seat.
Sweetin is a recovering meth addict and alcoholic. A doctor testified that Sweetin had recently relapsed, but added that she is attending AA meetings and isn’t a threat to the child.
The judge ruled that Sweetin will be allowed to have supervised visits with her daughter. The judge also ordered both Jodie and Cody to submit to drug testing before the next hearing.
What a sad state to be in. And right here at the holidays.
