Lara Bonds with the Men of 'Yes Man'

Jim Carrey learns the power of "Yes" in his new movie 'Yes Man,' in theaters now, and "The Insider"'s own Lara Spencer gets the goods from his onscreen best buds, Bradley Cooper and Danny Masterson!

"I think I was the perfect viewer for the movie -- I definitely like ritual and routine, and I thought, 'You know what? I want to switch it up a little bit,'" Bradley tells Lara. The "Alias" and "Nip/Tuck" actor plays Jim's pal who gets engaged -- and whose disappointment in Jim's character drives him to go to the "Yes" seminar.

'Yes Man' stars Jim as a guy whose operative word is "No" -- and his life is going nowhere. But when he reluctantly signs up for a self-help program, the power of saying "Yes" to everything soon transforms his life in amazing and unexpected ways.

Former "That '70s Show" star Danny plays Jim's other best buddy -- "that odd friend you're not quite sure why he's there, but you like having him around" -- and he says he was surprised how inspiring the comedy turned out to be.

"The first 45 minutes is just funny, zany, all kinds of things happening," he explains, "But then it takes you on this journey and you find [Jim's character] just turning his life around, and others getting inspired as well, to be more positive towards life -- so it actually has this really nice message."

On working with Jim, both men have nothing but high praise.

"That's the reason why I did the movie; I wanted to work with him," says Bradley. "And I was not disappointed in the least. It's nice when you meet a hero and he or she lives up to [your expectations]."

"I've never seen anybody work as hard as he does to make it look like he's not doing anything," says Danny, adding, "You often find people at the top are just so cool and having nothing but stories to give. So, he would tell lots of stories -- childhood, growing up, kids and the whole thing. Within a couple days you felt real at ease."
