Bush Twins: Candid About Malia & Sasha Obama

President Bush's twin daughters Jenna and Barbara make candid comparisons between themselves and President-elect Barack Obama's little girls Sasha and Malia!

“We gave them a tour [of the White House],” Barbara tells People magazine of Barack and Michelle's daughters. “We were here when we were seven, which is Sasha's age, when our grandfather [George H.W. Bush] was president, and so we know how fun it was to be that age in this house. And so we showed them our little secret, fun places.”

“Well, sure,” Jenna adds to the mag, “I mean, they're a lot younger than we are, cuter than we are -- all younger and cuter. We're old news. Even the puppy.”

“Even the puppy is going to be cuter,” Barbara laughs.

  • I think the girls have been doing fine and will continue to do so. Mrs. Obama is the guiding force behind the girls and she is doing a wonderful job. Mr. President's presence seems to be a calming force to the girls.
