American Idol Gets A New Anthem Tonight

Dave Stewart and Bono have teamed up to write a new aid anthem for TV talent show American Idol. The rockers’ new tune, American Prayer, will debut tonight during the TV fundraiser American Idol Gives Back. Bono will also meet with the six current American Idol finalists as part of the special, which will highlight his ONE: The Campaign To Make Poverty History. The Idol contestants will then perform the new song - about the AIDS emergency in Africa. This is sure to be a huge show with the likes of Hugh Grant, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion & Elvis. I'm sure this will be a gigantic ratings score for FOX.
