Actors try to be musicians all of the time and most of them fail miserably at it. Please hope that Joaquin Phoenix is reading this. That’s why I usually hate actor musicians because they are so in over their heads that they’re actually good when they’re not. However, there are a few that are actually good. Jason Schwartzman is one of those rare ones that actually manages to make good music. You should hear his side project ‘Nighttiming’ CD. And guess what? He’s back with a new song called ‘Mircophone’ and he’s giving it away for free. I guess it’s his Christmas present.
